HAPPY JANMASHTAMI

WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI...

May Shree Krishna shower all his blessings on us and enlighten our body, mind and soul with the celestial sermon of Bhagwat Geeta.

Whatever happened, it happened for good. Whatever is happening, is happening for good. Whatever that will happen, it will be for good. What have you lost for which you cry? What did you bring with you, which you have lost? What did you produce, ...which has destroyed? You did not bring anything when you were born. Whatever you have, you have received from Him. Whatever you will give, you will give to Him

Let's Welcome the Rain!

How beautiful is the rain!
After the dust and heat,
In the broad and fiery street,
In the narrow lane,
How beautiful is the rain!

How it clatters along the roofs,
Like the tramp of hoofs!
How it gushes and struggles out
From the throat of the overflowing spout!

Across the window pane
It pours and pours;
And swift and wide,
With a muddy tide,
Like a river down the gutter roars
The rain, the welcome rain!
(Henry W. Longfellow)

Finally the lovely season of enjoying beautiful rain showers, cool breeze, hot tea and fritters, greenery everywhere, has approached. After a long wait during those hot and fiery days under the scorching sun rays and rising mercury, finally showers have started pouring over the earth making all of us happy and relaxed.

So, Folks, just come out of your homes to enjoy this rainy season.

" Life is not about waiting for storm to pass, it's all about to learning to dance in the rain"

Turn Racism Down

One after another racial attacks on Indian students namely Baljinder Singh, Saurabh Sharma, Shrawan Kumar (he is battling for his life), Rajesh Kumar and Nardeep Singh, in Australia have brought our attention towards the increasing rate of racism. No doubt the whole world is deeply disturbed by the events that happened in Australia.

Every year a number of students from India fly offshore for studies to make their dreams come true. There are between 70,000 and 95,000 Indian students enrolled in Australian universities who also add value to Australian economy by paying educational fees and taxes to the government. Despite of this, many natives of Australia feel threatened by the increasing number of Indians, which is the main reason behind these attacks. This situation has increased fear among millions of Indian students studying not only in Australia but all other countries, about their safety. Many students in India have abandoned their ideas of going to Australia for further studies.

These racial attacks have become a matter of universal shame. Governments along with the citizens of all countries should come forward to bring racism to an end. We should behave as polite human beings and keep in our minds that God has created us in different colours, creeds, races, tribes and nations, not to fight with one another, but understand our differences and love one another. Let us all make this world a happier place to live and save the lives of millions of innocents by curing this ‘racism epidemic’.
